Our pharmacy covers all aspects of drug therapy, including procurement, dispensing, education, administration, monitoring and adjustment. Our wide range of services provides pharmacists with the opportunity to expand their skills and cross-train in multiple areas.

Anticoagulation Clinic

The anticoagulation clinic provides monitoring, dosing and education for specialty drug therapy. The clinic's goal is to assist physicians in optimizing drug therapy and educating patients.

Community Pharmacy (Retail—Outpatient)

Our retail pharmacy provides prescription services for employees of Sonora Regional Medical Center, outpatients, members of the hospital's OakPlus organization and the general public.

Community Infusion and Pain Center

The infusion and pain center provides outpatient services to ambulatory patients. These may include chemotherapy, intravenous antibiotics, intravenous solutions, blood transfusions, etc.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Consulting

We provide medications and consultation to the residents of two SNFs. In addition, we review drug regimens, provide staff training, plan patient care and more.

Home Infusion Service

In collaboration with an in-home agency, a variety of services are provided to patients in their homes, including intravenous drugs and solutions, chemotherapy, supplies, and enteral feedings.

Inpatient (Acute Care) Pharmacy

Our inpatient pharmacy provides pharmaceutical care to acute care patients, including medication dispensing, management of drug therapy by protocol, and clinical pharmacy and consultative services. In addition the inpatient pharmacy provides an IV admixture program utilizing a class 100,000 clean room.
